Best marketing campaigns in Norway!

Both Amanda and Gulskogen won the prestigerous NCSC Awards yesterday in the categories “Best campaign” and “Open class”!

During the NCSC conference in Oslo yesterday, Gulskogen and Amanda were honored as the best marketers in the shopping center industry! Gulskogen won the category “Best campaign” and Amanda won the “Open class”.

In category “Best campaign” Gulskogen was nominated along with Moldetorget and Sørlandssenteret. Amanda was nominated in the category “Open class” together with Byhaven in Trondheim and Hercules in Skien. – The competition for these prices is very heavy, and shopping centers across the country submit their contributions to the competition. Winning is therefore the ultimate evidence of the centers’ ability to be creative and innovative, and not least to implement campaign in an excellent manner creating great results, says Chairman of NCSC Rolf O. Svendsen.

Gulskogen: Let men be men
The campaign “Motor Show 2016” builds on a campaign which is also implemented previous years, and was directed especially towards male customers. The goal was to make the center more relevant and appealing to an audience that normally does not want to spend much time in malls. The campaign was based on good insight; that many men have a weakness for automotive events. – Gulskogen showed that it is possible to reinforce and develop a good idea and make it even more effective. The campaign was based insights, and created great media attention. But most important of all, the event created increased turnover, says Rolf O. Svendsen at NCSC.

Relevant and effective
The campaign “Shame” built on the ongoing relevant famous NRK TV series and was directed especially towards younger audiences. The use of social media Instagram and Snapchat as main channels, worked very well, despite small budgets. – The promotion was so innovative that it reinforced the message considerably. Amanda managed successfully to be relevant and to-the-point towards a difficult target group who really got involved. It gave impressive results and Amanda was a unanimous and obvious winner, says Rolf O. Svendsen at NCSC.
